Right Reverend Graham Paul Knowles

The Right Reverend Graeme Paul Knowles - Dean

The Right Reverend Graeme Paul Knowles was installed as Dean of St Paul's Cathedral on 1 October 2007.

Previously the Bishop of Sodor and Man, Dean Knowles comes to St Paul's with a wealth of Cathedral experience, having served as Precentor of Portsmouth Cathedral 1981-87, Archdeacon of Portsmouth 1993-99, and Dean of Carlisle 1999-2003.


Right Reverend Michael Colclough

The Right Reverend Michael Colclough - Canon Pastor

The Right Reverend Michael Colclough is Canon Pastor of St Paul's Cathedral, with the brief of pastoral care for staff, visitors and worshippers.

Michael Colclough has served as a Priest, Area Dean, Archdeacon and Bishop in the Diocese of London. He trained for the priesthood at Leeds University and Cuddesdon College, Oxford, and was ordained at Lichfield Cathedral in 1971, serving his first curacy at St Weburgh's, Burslem.

In 1975, he moved to the Diocese of London and was Curate of St Mary, South Ruislip, before being made Priest-in-Charge of St Anselm, Hayes. Following his appointments as Area Dean of Hillingdon and Team Rector of Uxbridge, he became Archdeacon of Northolt in 1992.

In 1994 he was appointed Archdeacon at London House and PA to the Bishop of London and in 1995 he became a Deputy Priest in Ordinary to Her Majesty the Queen. He was consecrated Bishop of Kensington on 24 September 1996 at St Paul's Cathedral.

Within the Diocese he chairs ALMA, the diocesan link with the Church in Angola and Mozambique.


Giles_FraserReverend Dr Giles Fraser - Canon Chancellor

Rev'd Dr Giles Fraser is Canon Chancellor and heads up the teaching office of the cathedral. He is the director of the St Paul's Institute responsible for the Cathedral's engagement with the City of London as a financial centre.

Before coming to St Paul's he was the Vicar of Putney, and prior to that Chaplain of Wadham College, Oxford, where he was also a lecturer in Philosophy. He has a PhD in philosophical theology and has published and lectured widely in philosophy of religion and ethics. He also lectures for the army on moral leadership in war at the Defence Academy, Shrivenham.

He is a regular contributor to national newspapers, as well as having a weekly column in the Church Times. He is also a familiar voice on BBC Radio 4's Thought for the Day.
  

 Lucrezia Walker - Lay Canon (Visual Arts)

Lucrezia Walker is Lay Canon with Portfolio to the Visual Arts. She was was installed in November 2009 and is committed to developing the St Paul's Cathedral Arts Programme.

She studied art history at the University of East Anglia, and has an MA in Victorian studies. She taught at Rome University, was galleries correspondent for The Tablet, and lectures and writes on artists and art history.


Gavin Ralston - Lay Canon (Finance)

As Lay Canon (Finance) Gavin Ralston holds particular responsibility for finance at St Paul's Cathedral. He is Global Head of Product and leading international asset manager at Schroder Investment Management. He holds the role of Lay Canon in addition to his position at Schroders.

He has had a long career in asset management in the City of London. As Global Head of Product and Chairman, Europe and Middle East at Schroder Investment Management he has responsibility for managing the firm’s product offering across equity, fixed income and multi-asset. He has a degree from University College, Oxford and is a member of the Investment Funds Committee of the Investment Management Association.

Gavin Ralston also serves as a Churchwarden at St Lawrence Jewry-next Guildhall and as trustee of an endowment fund established by University College, Oxford.
