The Chapter of St Paul's would like to pay particular homage to Sir Roger Gibbs, without whose personal commitment and tireless energy as Chairman of St Paul's Cathedral Foundation between 2000 and 2005 the campaign would simply have not been made possible.

They are also most grateful to his successor Sir Robert Finch and to Peter Chapman, formerly Lay Canon and Vice Chairman of the Foundation who was involved from its initiation in 2000 together with Sir Roger Gibbs and the former Dean, The Very Reverend John Moses.

In particular, they would like to acknowledge and give thanks for the exceptional contribution of the Fleming family, without whose generosity the project could not have been completed.
