Celebration of Christmas ticketing

For the first year, our Celebration of Christmas concert will be ticketed.

For 2017, we will make tickets available via this website, for people to book.

Tickets will be available to book at 8pm (GMT) on Wednesday 1 November 2017 at www.stpauls.co.uk/christmas

The tickets will remain free.

There will be a limit to the total number of tickets individuals are allowed to book.

A ticket does not guarantee a particular seat or area of the Cathedral. For all people with tickets seating will be on a first come basis.

By making this concert ticketed, we will be bringing it in line with other concert performances at the Cathedral, such as the Christmas Messiah and Easter Passion.

In the past, the concert has been unticketed and people have queued, often for many hours to get in.

Services (as opposed to concerts) will remain unticketed.

We hope the day and time selected for making tickets available gives most people the chance to book tickets.

If people want reminders, we will make sure it is well-flagged on our website and social media channels - Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.

We are happy to receive feedback, which will help us see if ticketing was a success and should be continued.

We are sorry that some people may be disappointed by this change but also hope that by removing the need to queue, sometimes for a number of hours, more people will be able to have the opportunity to attend.
