It is often difficult to reconcile a sense of moral duty with the demanding, and fundamentally profit-driven, structures of modern professional life. How can we engage our faith in professional arenas most productively? When should we stand up for a deeper vision of moral duty, and when might compromise be required? Can we bring our authentic self to work and still reach the highest levels of success?

This interactive 'fishbowl' seminar will explore the conflicts that people often find between their professional careers and faith-based identity, particularly from the perspective of young professionals in the beginning and middle stages of their careers.

Organised in partnership between St Paul's Institute, the City Sikhs Network and Faith in Leadership, the seminar will aim to provide practical guidance in a participatory format to encourage attendees to express themselves and develop the bonds needed to be authentic, successful and honest in the workplace.
