For more than 1,400 years, a Cathedral dedicated to St Paul has stood at the highest point in the City. The present Cathedral is the masterpiece of Britain's most famous architect Sir Christopher Wren.

Archbishop of Canterbury Ordains two new Bishops at St Paul's

Two new Bishops have been Ordained and Consecrated at St Paul's Cathedral.

A Eucharist service, held on Wednesday 25th January, saw the Archbishop of Canterbury officially ordain the Reverend Canon Tim Dakin to the post of Bishop of Winchester and the Venerable John Wraw to the post of Bishop of Bradwell in the Diocese of Chelmsford.

A congregation of around 3,000 witnessed the ordination with many people coming to London from Essex and Hampshire.
