Explore one of the marvels of London without the crowds

This half term bring your family to St Paul’s Cathedral and discover the treasures and hidden stories under our Dome. Enjoy the Cathedral without the crowds, bring learning to life, and marvel at the views of our city from the Stone Gallery.

Bring your children to St Paul’s Cathedral for free (includes all under 18s) from 17th to 31st October and discover why we are one of London’s must-visit sites.

Use the promo code KGF2020 when you are viewing your basket to apply the child ticket discount (family tickets aren't eligible with this promotion). Receive unlimited access to the Cathedral for a year by selecting annual pass tickets at no extra cost.

What can my family do at St Paul's Cathedral?

On our Inspiring Stories tours, discover the hidden stories of figures like Florence Nightingale, prison reformer John Howard, and activist Canon John Collins. Tours run daily from 26th-31st October at 11am and 2pm, beginning at the guiding desk. All families are welcome, although tours are suitable for children aged 11+. For younger children, follow the activities in our Inspiring Stories trail to explore these stories and others, around the Cathedral (downloadable below).

Learn how the current St Paul's Cathedral rose from the ashes of the Great Fire of London or enhance your experience with our free family multimedia guides filled with interactive activities. Our multimedia guides are cleaned before and after every use, and you can bring along your favourite headphones if you’d prefer.

Free family activity packs are available by the Admissions Desks which you can explore during your visit. These include our family trails which allow children to discover the Cathedral at their own pace and are packed with fun facts and opportunities to find things and draw pictures.

How do I buy tickets?

We strongly recommend you pre-book your tickets in advance online to guarantee your entry to the Cathedral at your preferred time. Online booking is available on the day, right up to the selected time slot. Please select the number of child tickets required and use the code KGF2020 when viewing your basket to apply the discount.

Up to three children can receive entry per adult, concession or disabled visitor ticket holder accompanying them.

The offer cannot be used in conjunction with other offers, group bookings or discounts and is valid only when buying tickets direct from St Paul’s Cathedral. The Cathedral is not open for sightseeing on Sundays.

What measures are in place to keep us safe?

We are following Government and Church of England advice on COVID-19 and have been awarded the ‘Good to Go’ industry standard by Visit Britain.

To keep our visitors and staff safe, we’ve introduced timed entry slots and limited capacity to enable social distancing. One-way systems are also in place, as well as regular cleaning and hand sanitiser stations. Read more about the safety measures we have in place here.

Our toilets and shop are open, but unfortunately our café and restaurant remain closed.
