Holy Week and Easter

During Holy Week and Easter we join with Christian people throughout the world in celebrating events at the heart of the Gospel.
Join us:
- On Palm Sunday for dramatic re-enactment of the triumphal entry of Jesus to Jerusalem, beginning in Paternoster Square. With donkey procession and music by the Cathedral Choir.
- During Holy Week for Meditations at 6pm on Monday 6th, Tuesday 7th and Wednesday 8th April
- On Maundy Thursday at 1030 for Sung Eucharist with the Washing of Feet and the Watch of the Passion. The vigil until midnight recals the Last Supper and the events leading up to the betrayal and arrest of Jesus.
- On Good Friday, a day of prayer at St Paul's when the Cathedral is open for worship and prayer only.
- On Holy Saturday for the Easter Liturgy at 7pm with Baptism and Confirmation, and the renewal of baptism vows.
- During the services on Easter Day
