Family visitors with SEND
All our programmed family events are inclusive for neurodivergent visitors and visitors with additional needs. At every event, a space is provided to relax and take a break and our team are always on hand if you need any further support.
“It was a well organised and thoughtfully put together event. We had a super time and my child really enjoyed creating things and is proud of what he made. It was really nicely free-flow and that makes such a difference, particularly with a child with SEND. Thanks for all you did to make it a super day.”
Our family tours are sensory and interactive with items to touch and smell as we explore the Cathedral’s stories and we aim to be fully inclusive.
Throughout the school holidays, on selected dates, we offer BSL interpretation to support our family tours and activities.
Below are some resources you may find helpful to prepare for your visit. Please get in touch with our team and we can provide further information if required.
