For more than 1,400 years, a Cathedral dedicated to St Paul has stood at the highest point in the City. The present Cathedral is the masterpiece of Britain's most famous architect Sir Christopher Wren.

Baroness Thatcher Funeral - 2013
Politicians and foreign dignitaries joined friends and family of the former Prime Minister at the service on Wednesday, 17 April 2013.
Her Majesty The Queen and His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh also attended the funeral service.

The Bishop of London gave the address at the service, opening with the line: "After the storm of a life lived in the heat of political controversy, there is a great calm."
He went on to say: "She applied herself to her work with formidable energy and passion. But she continued to reflect on how faith and politics related to one another."
The service included two Biblical readings, one by Baroness Thatcher's granddaughter, Amanda, and the other by Prime Minister, David Cameron.
