Worship and music

Our Cathedral has been here for over 1,400 years, and its main purpose has always been as a place of worship and prayer.
Across our worship and music pages, you can find information about our upcoming services and musical performances, and get to know more about the musicians – and instruments – that bring our programme to life.

As well as a calendar providing day to day information about our services, we also provide guidance for those looking to join a St Paul's service for the first time. In addition, our Music section will give you a behind-the-scenes look at the people who help coordinate music in the Cathedral, as well as details on how you can engage with our various music outreach programmes and resources.
