Concert series and service marks 40 years since the death of Maurice Duruflé

Though Durufle’s body of work is relatively small, his legacy is far from it – he is known for his rich impressionistic sound and intense perfectionism, which almost certainly contributed to his limited number of works. 

The series will include all of Durufle’s organ works, as well as his 'Messe cum Jubilo'.

Sunday 6^th September, 5.30pm: Sung Eucharist featuring Durufle’s 'Messe cum Jubilo'

Sunday 20^th September 4.30pm: Organ recital with George Inscoe, Sub-Organist

Sunday 27^th September, 4.30pm: Organ recital with James Orford and George Inscoe, plus instrumental players

Sunday 4^th October, 4.30pm: Organ recital with James Orford, Organist
