November at the Cathedral
Join us at St Paul's in this season of Remembrance to remember those who have died.
November is the Church’s month of remembrance. Throughout this month there are opportunities at the Cathedral for us to remember those who have died, both those who we knew and were close to us, and those who lost their lives in war.
On All Souls’ Day we have the opportunity to remember before God our loved ones who have died. If you attend the Requiem Eucharist on All Souls’ Day on 2nd November, you will be invited before the service to write down the names of people who have died whom you wish to be remembered in prayer.
There will also be an opportunity to contribute names of those who have died through the Cathedral's social media accounts.
As a nation, on Remembrance Sunday we remember those who have died in war. We pray for all who suffer as a result of war today and we ask for God’s help and blessing that we may continue to work together for justice and peace. You are welcome to join us at one of our Cathedral services that day.
They shall grow not old as we that are left grow old:
age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
we will remember them.
