How to book £1 Tickets for St Pauls

We understand that rising costs can make family outings difficult for many on low incomes. 

That's why we're offering £1 sightseeing tickets to those UK visitors receiving Universal Credit, Pension Credit, or Employment Support Allowance (ESA), so you and up to four children (aged 6-17) can enjoy a memorable day out at St Paul’s Cathedral. 

A disabled visitor can book free entry for themselves and a carer or companion unconnected from the £1 ticket offer.  

£1 Tickets can be purchased online up to three months in advance of your visit, or on the door. To guarantee entry and avoid disappointment, we advise booking tickets in advance. 

If you purchase your tickets online, they will be emailed to you. When you visit the Cathedral please bring with you the required supporting documentation.

To ensure successful entry, please bring the following with you:

Supporting documentation
Please bring with you one of the following supporting documents to show eligibility for the £1 ticket offer:

  • Universal Credit – Universal Credit statement, digital or paper copy
  • Pension Credit – DWP letter of confirmation
  • Employment and Support Allowance – DWP letter of confirmation

If you do not have proof of receiving benefits, you can request a letter from the government. 

Your ID
Please bring proof of ID to verify the recipient is present. This does not need to be a photo ID; A bank card, bank statement, utility bill or work ID are also accepted. 

All supporting documents and identification should be recent and up to date.

Your tickets
Tickets purchased online in advance will be emailed to you. £1 tickets can also be purchased at the door on the day of your visit.
