Celebrity organ recitals

Join us under the Dome to hear our world-famous Grand Organ in the hands of some of the world's finest players with our 2026 Season of Celebrity Organ Recitals. This year's theme is 'Legacy of Legends' - celebrating both the musical and teaching legacies of legendary organists.

Free Sunday organ events

At 4.30pm on Sundays, we welcome an organist to the Cathedral to give a half-hour recital on our Grand Organ - completely free and unticketed for visitors. 

In addition, we hold occasional Organ Meditations and Eucharists at 5.30pm in place of a recital - check service schedule for further details.

Organ giants recitals

Our organ recital series 'Organ Giants' celebrated 150 years of the Willis organ of St Paul’s. The series presents the complete organ works of J.S. Bach and Mendelssohn, alongside works by Robert and Clara Schumann and Brahms, with selected works demonstrating the influence of J.S. Bach.
