Sales Assistant - 3 months Fixed Term Contract

We are looking to recruit for exceptional, part-time Sales Assistants to work as part of the Cathedral shop team supporting the trading subsidiary, St Paul’s Cathedral Enterprises, of this iconic Central London landmark. As well as serving our visitors and customers by providing exceptional customer care and assistance/information, you will help in the day-to-day operational activities of the Cathedral shop. This involves operating the tills and handling cash and stock. To be effective in the role you’ll have excellent customer service skills, ideally gained in a visitor-facing role in a busy environment. We would love for you to apply if you have: • Experience in a retail environment
• Experience in cash-handling and computerised systems, in particular tills
• Confident and clear communication skills, both written and verbal The icing on the cake would be advanced skills in a language other than English to engage with our visitors from across the globe. As the Cathedral serves as a place of worship, a centre of learning and a visitor attraction 365 days a year, you will need to work some Saturdays and bank holidays as part of the annualised hours rota. In return you’ll find we are a welcoming place to work and we each take responsibility for our part in the Cathedral’s work, looking after St Paul’s for the next generation. • Our holiday allowance is 33 days (FTE) including bank holidays
• Our pension scheme allows for up to 7.5% employer contribution

Senior Individual Giving and Membership Manager

Working closely with the Director of Development and the wider Development and Cathedral team, you will lead on all individual and regular giving, membership programmes and legacy fundraising across the Cathedral in order to significantly increase these income streams to secure more diverse and sustainable income for St Paul’s Cathedral in preparation for a transformational Development Campaign from 2025.

You will be responsible for the development and implementation of a individual and regular giving strategy, building an organisational-wide supporter journey programme driven by data and insight, deepening relationships with our members, visitors and supporters through excellent stewardship and customer service to drive a significant increase in income and engagement.

The successful candidate will have:Experience of working in a Direct Marketing role Experience of raising income from individualsExperience of running membership schemesExperience of running fundraising appeals Experience of audience insight and segmentation principles and use of data and CRM systems to develop supporter journeys that increase income and engagementDemonstrable track record in developing and delivering supporter/customer strategiesThe successful applicant will also be expected to share in St Paul’s Cathedral’s commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults.

Visitor Experience Assistant

We are looking to recruit a number of Visitor Experience Assistants - busy ‘front of house’ positions, where you will be welcoming visitors from across the world to the Cathedral and making their visit one to remember, by ensuring a seamless experience from the initial welcome at the Cathedral’s entrances, to ticket selling and providing information and guidance throughout their visit, whether in the Crypt or the indoor and outdoor galleries.
    
This is a busy and varied operational role, where you will be working throughout the Cathedral, including the indoor and outdoor galleries, to welcome visitors from across the world to the Cathedral, and make their visit one to remember.If you have excellent customer service skills, a passion for history and a desire to be part of this vibrant building, we’d love to hear from you.The successful applicant will also be expected to share in St Paul’s Cathedral’s commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults.
In return you’ll find we are a welcoming place to work, and we each take responsibility for our part in the Cathedral’s work, looking after St Paul’s for the next generation.

Choral Animateur (12-Month, Fixed Term Contract)
