Visitor Engagement Programme Manager

We are looking to recruit a Visitor Engagement Programme Manager on a fixed term 12-month contract. Someone who is passionate about attracting new and existing visitors by building partner relationships to organise an exciting and commercially sustainable programme of visitor exhibitions, activities and events aimed at a wide range of audiences. Reporting to the Head of Visitor Operations, you will lead on planning our activities for the Wren 300 celebrations in 2023, as well assisting with the development of future exhibition themes and programming activity for 2024, based on evaluation findings. We would love to hear from you if you have: • a track record of success in delivering visitor led experiences and visitor programming within a complex, cultural, commercial, heritage or visitor attraction setting;
• the ability to devise, design and produce a range of visitor programming experiences and partnerships based on research, data and trends;
• proven organisational and project management skills; and
• excellent interpersonal, team working and stakeholder management skills. In return you’ll find we are a welcoming place to work and we each take responsibility for our part in the Cathedral’s work, looking after St Paul’s for the next generation. • Our holiday allowance is 25 days plus bank holidays
• Our pension scheme allows for up to 7.5% employer contribution
• And as you might expect we have life assurance of four times basic salary and an employee assistance programme. We are an inclusive employer and welcome candidates from all backgrounds. As the Cathedral is open across all 365 days a year, you may be required to work some weekends and bank holidays. We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and adults at risk and expect our whole team to share in this commitment. Travel Trade and Group Sales Manager

Working to the Head of Sales, Ticketing and Visitor Insight, the Travel Trade and Group Sales Manager is responsible for developing and growing travel trade, group visitor numbers and revenue through productive relationships and partnerships. The post holder will also be expected to develop products to grow our travel trade and groups business and support operational aspects of working with these markets to ensure smooth booking processes and communications. The successful candidate will have:excellent understanding of the inbound tourism industry and the travel trade with a proven track record of successfully selling to a national and overseas audience, ideally within a visitor attraction environmentsignificant experience working at a senior sales executive or manager level with travel trade partners including the groups market, coach companies, tour operators and online travel agenciesinterest in the arts and heritage sectorThe successful applicant will also be expected to share in St Paul’s Cathedral’s commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults.In return you’ll find we are a welcoming place to work and we each take responsibility for our part in the Cathedral’s work, looking after St Paul’s for the next generation. Our annual holiday allowance is 25 days plus bank holidaysOur pension scheme allows for up to 7.5% employer contributionAnd as you might expect we have life assurance of four times basic salary and an employee assistance programmeWe are committed to creating and sustaining a diverse and inclusive workforce that represents our context and wider community.
