Property Operations Manager

Leading the operational delivery of compliance, maintenance and projects, the Property Operations Manager will be responsible for assigning work to the property team in accordance with the weekly schedule, ensuring all team members are actively engaged, efficient and carrying out work safety.The Property Operations Manager will:line manage the Property Maintenance Operativeswrite risk assessments and method statements where requiredassist in the delivery of restoration and conservation projects – allocation of materials and resourcesensure response maintenance items are carried out in a timely manner, to a high standard and signed off within the software systemassist in the delivery of the 15-year plan of works within budget and programmeprovide site management support for minor projects (up to £50k)The successful applicant will have:construction knowledge and qualifications – City and Guilds trade background or higher construction qualifications or accreditationbe a qualified SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training) or be willing to attend training;have experience of working on historic buildings and working knowledge of conservation techniqueshave demonstrable operational line management experiencebe able to read drawings and provide construction detail sketches where requireddetail-orientated approach with strong documentation and record-keeping abilitiesproblem-solving mindset with ability to make quick decisions where required, with a positive attitudebe willing and able to climb the many staircases in the Cathedral, including the 528 steps to the top of the Dome Galleries.The successful applicant will also be expected to share in St Paul’s Cathedral’s commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults.In return you’ll find we are a welcoming place to work and we each take responsibility for our part in the Cathedral’s work, looking after St Paul’s for the next generation. Our annual holiday allowance is 25 days plus 8 bank holidaysOur pension scheme allows for up to 7.5% employer contributionAnd as you might expect we have life assurance of four times basic salary and an employee assistance programmeWe are committed to creating and sustaining a diverse and inclusive workforce that represents our context and wider community. IT Support Analyst

In this role you will be the first point of contact for all IT problems, queries and requests and will take ownership, following them through to resolution and keeping in contact with the user.  You will support of the Head of IT in improving the IT systems, and in training and supporting users from across the Cathedral to use IT as required to perform their duties.  We would like to hear from you if: You have experience of supporting organisation specific information systems. You have good knowledge of standard desktop applications, and common user problems.  You have experience of providing onsite helpdesk support. You have excellent communication and customer service skills. You have previous experience of leading user training. Senior HR Advisor

We are looking to recruit 2 Senior HR Advisors; who are passionate about supporting our staff as they care for this historic landmark, provide Christian worship and welcome visitors from across the world. As a key part of a small HR team, you will work in partnership with managers to understand the operation of their areas and to provide operational HR interventions and people plans to deliver the Cathedral’s mission, strategies, values and business plans.  You will lead on all aspects of HR responsibility within your assigned business areas, including recruitment, employee management, development and training.  You will also support the Head of HR to review policies and deliver projects. We would love to hear from you if you have: extensive experience of working in a fast-paced HR environment; excellent relationship-building skills; and   up-to-date knowledge and experience of UK employment law and advising on HR policies and procedures.
