Minor Canon and Succentor

Are you excited by worship, with a vision for mission? We're looking for an Anglican priest with a breadth of liturgical knowledge and experience, a love and knowledge of music, and good administrative and pastoral skills to join our busy Liturgical Department, living at the heart of a vibrant world city. Worship and prayer are at the centre of our Cathedral life, and integral to the outreach of St Paul’s. Working alongside the Sacrist and Canon Precentor, you’ll have the chance to maintain and develop authentic worship that touches and draws people to Christ from many cultures across the world, living and working in a creative and engaging environment. The successful applicant will also be expected to share in our commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults. We are committed to creating and sustaining a diverse and inclusive workforce that represents our context and wider community. We are aware that those of United Kingdom Minority Ethnic / Global Majority Heritage, women, and disabled people are currently under-represented in our workforce, and we particularly encourage applications from those with the relevant skills and experience that will increase our representation. If you are interested in this role and think you could be the perfect candidate, please visit our recruitment microsite. The closing date for applications is 2nd March 2026 at 8am. Interviews will take place on Tuesday the 14th April 2026. We're looking for an Anglican priest with a breadth of liturgical knowledge and experience, a love and knowledge of music, and good administrative and pastoral skills to join our busy Liturgical Department, living at the heart of a vibrant world city.
