Choral Animateur (12-Month, Fixed Term Contract)

HR and Payroll Administrator

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced administrator to join the HR department in one of the most iconic buildings in the world, St Paul’s Cathedral. We are seeking to appoint an HR and Payroll Administrator. This is a key role in our HR team, providing essential first point of contact support to our staff and back-office administration for the HR department itself.  The successful candidate will be responsible for administration relating to recruitment, payroll and training, and also provide support in preparing correspondence in other areas such as employee relations casework, pay awards and benefits. IT Support Analyst

In this role you will be the first point of contact for all IT problems, queries and requests and will take ownership, following them through to resolution and keeping in contact with the user.  You will support of the Head of IT in improving the IT systems, and in training and supporting users from across the Cathedral to use IT as required to perform their duties.  We would like to hear from you if: You have experience of supporting organisation specific information systems. You have good knowledge of standard desktop applications, and common user problems.  You have experience of providing onsite helpdesk support. You have excellent communication and customer service skills. You have previous experience of leading user training. This is a fantastic opportunity to work behind the scenes of one of the most iconic buildings in the world, keeping it safe and clean for all its visitors, staff and volunteers.The role includes cleaning the steps leading up to the famous frontage of the Cathedral, the vast and beautiful Cathedral floor, the largest crypt in Europe, the hidden corridors of the Triforium, the breathtaking galleries, plus staff offices and communal areas. To thrive in this role, you’ll need to be comfortable with the everyday manual work, including the 500+ stairs to the Galleries. Music Department Operations Officer

This role is a chance to play an important part in our musical life. As part of our Music department, you’ll help ensure the smooth running of daily choral worship and support the Director of Music in delivering our musical programme. You’ll work closely with colleagues across St Paul's, and with external partners, keeping things organised and coordinated behind the scenes.
