Service Schedule
Following the declaration of a Major Incident in London due to high rates of COVID-19, and the request for places of worship to
close, the Chapter of St Paul’s has made the difficult decision to close the Cathedral for public worship and private prayer with immediate
effect. This decision will be reviewed regularly, as we closely monitor the situation, and we hope to reopen for private prayer, services
and sightseeing when it is safe to do so. The Ministers will continue to offer prayer and worship on behalf of us all.
At the heart of the life of St Paul’s Cathedral is the daily pattern of prayer and worship. This daily rhythm of prayer forms the framework
of all that we do.
We begin and end the day with prayer. Then at each hour our doors are open we invite our visitors and pilgrims to join in the Lord’s Prayer, in their own language, as they pause. Music is integral to the worshipping and educational life of the Cathedral, with a number of our services sung by the Cathedral Choir or visiting choirs from around the world.
All services are free to enter, with no booking required. You are always welcome here, whoever you are and whatever you do or don't believe.
