St Paul’s Cathedral has been here for over 1,400 years. It has been built and rebuilt five times, and always its main purpose has been as a place of worship and prayer.

Lifelong learning is a core part of the our work, delivered through a variety of events by St Paul's Institute, and the Cathedral's Adult Learning and Schools & Family Learning departments.

History & Collections
For more than 1,400 years, a Cathedral dedicated to St Paul has stood at the highest point in the City. The present Cathedral is the masterpiece of Britain's most famous architect Sir Christopher Wren.

Morning Prayer
NB Following Government guidance on COVID-19, there will be no services at St Paul's Cathedral from Thursday 5 November to Tuesday 1 December. During this time, St Paul's Cathedral will remain open for private prayer only, from 11am to 3pm each day. We hope to resume services when we are able.
Morning Prayer is the earliest service at St Paul's, taking place when the Cathedral is at its stillest.
Monday - Saturday | 8.30 - 8.50am |
A spoken service, led by prayer, it lasts roughly 20 minutes and is popular with City workers on their way into their offices.
All are very welcome to attend.
