Derek was a man who made everyone feel like his best friend within minutes of meeting him. He was a much loved man - husband, father, family member and friend. This cruel disease took away one of the best of us.

My dad was a very fit 87 year old who walked 4 miles a day and was grateful for his life! he will be missed by his family so much. xx
