Gertie was born in Eimbeckhausen Germany.She was the youngest of 5 children.At the age of 18 she volunteered with 100 other girls to move to England to help with the labour shortages after the war.

Covid took our dad from us at 69 in such a cruel way, we couldn't be there at the end when it took his last breath. Covid has taken so much from us. nothing can hurt you now dad, sleep tight we all miss you very much xx

June was a lovely and wonderful grandmother but sadly caught covid in hospital from a fall in her bungalow I miss you still grandma and love you loads from your grandson Damien x

We miss dad more every day, nothing can fill the massive hole in our lives that he has left. He was the best husband, father, granddad, great granddad, brother and uncle that anyone could have wished for.

Dennis is so missed by all who knew him, especially his family, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was a committed Christian who never once complained about the challenges he faced towards the end.

Our beautiful Mam passed away 9days after Dad she tried so hard to stay with us all but she lost her fight Christmas Eve 2020 with Covid we loved her so much and will never forget Mam&Dad Thankyou for our memories
