Gerald was the kindest and gentlest of souls. He was an adoring husband to Joan, a loving father to Simon and Laura and grandfather to Joseph Luke Tolly Oliver and Patrick of whom he was so proud.

Hard working built a business when was 19 loved genealogy history especially his Jewish heritage. He managed to unite long lost family throught his research. Loved nature especially trees and our beloved cats. Miss him!

Daddy we miss you everyday. It was so unfair that you lost your life in this way. I tried to keep you safe, You are so loved, you deserve your place in history to be remembered for the wonderful person we knew you to be.

My dear Dad lived with Dementia and I believe that is why he succumbed to Covid 19. He didn't remember that he should stay safe at home. He was 89 and loved life still. He was the best Dad, Grandad and Great Grandad.
