Although 94 still taken too early, the overwhelming messages of condolence read - a lovely man - loved for always a husband, father, grandfather in our thoughts every day.

The funniest Dad & Grandad. Married 56 years & died 2 weeks before mum died. It is comforting to know you are both together despite how much we miss you. May your love continue wherever you are resting
