Charles John Newport
1950 - 2020
Charlie was such a beautiful human being and loved by everyone who knew him. Music was his life but his greatest love was his family. He has left such a huge void in our lives but he will be forever in our hearts.

A true gentleman taken too soon. Your sudden death has left a hole that will never be filled. We all miss you so much. The only comfort we have is that you are back with mum. You are Simply the Best x Love you Dad x

Born in Chippenham, one of three boys. Moved to Portsmouth met & married Julie & had son Nathan. Great lawn bowels player winning many competitions local & Nationals. Peter was Hampshire County Singles Champion in 1986.
