You lived a good and long life which ended at a difficult time. No one could come to see you nor come to your funeral, but I'm grateful that you were with your wife at the end and could see your family on video calls. He showed love to his grandchildren and to his great-grandchildren until the end.

The most amazing mum and Nanny there ever was in the world. Who meant everything to us all. Your wings were ready but our hearts were not. Love you forever Mum Clare Gary Gavin & your grandchildrenxx

My darling husband was taken from me by this cruel virus and I couldn't say goodbye. I know he would be so pleased today in heaven, that the vaccine has arrived and the light at the end of the tunnel is in sight. xxxx
