Tom was a referee for 53 years, Chairman of Durham FA, promoted girl's football, played cricket, bowls, a member of Hartlepool Male Voice Choir; book-keeper at St Joseph's RC; ex School Governor; ex Justice of the Peace.

A loving husband, dad, grandad and brother who was taken from us far too soon without warning. He worked hard as a plumber and was a friend to many with his dry sense of humour and good values. He will be sadly missed.

Joan was a loving wife to Maurice, mother to Janet and Philip, mother in law to Patrick and Paula, Grandmother to Daniel and Hannah, Nathan, Nicholas and Kelly and Great Grandmother to Cobyn and Cooper.

Mark, you will forever hold a place in our hearts. The sun shone brightly the day of your funeral as the streets gave you a standing ovation. Wishing you eternal peace. Love all of your family and friends xxxx

Dad loved London, working in the City he knew all the routes, took us to the sights inc. St Paul's where we climbed to the top. We stood here to watch the Lord Mayor's Show too. Thanks Dad for all you meant to us all X
