George Thomas Blenkinsop, from Liverpool, was an unsung telecommunications pioneer of fibre optics. He was young at heart, a good and kind man. He achieved much in his life, and was loved by all his family and friends.

We had kept you safe but you were taken too early with no time to say goodbye. You will, however, live on in our thoughts and prayers and we will go forward with the unconditional love and strength you have given us.

To a wonderful, amazing and loving husband, dad and grandad who was taken too soon. Our hero, you are forever in our hearts and will always be loved and remembered. Rest in Peace.
