Mum, you lived life to the full and enjoyed everything, and everyone enjoyed you. At 87 you took to the sky's in a glider, 88 a hot air balloon. Always thinking of you Charles, Sheila, Charlotte, Andy, friends & family.

A kind and giving person always volunteering to help others. A proud member and medal holder of the WRVS and also a long serving member of the Girl Guide movement. A good Wife, Mam, Grandma, Great Grandma and friend .

A wonderful son, husband, father, brother, uncle and friend. Passionate, loyal, strong, honest and a true protector. Our hearts are forever broken.

Professor Carl Tighe, born in Handsworth Birmingham and taught creative writing at the University of Derby. In 2000 he founded the first undergraduate degree in creative writing in the UK. He is survived by 6 siblings.

Dad was a kind, loving & sincere man who touched the hearts of everyone who knew him. He was a great motivator & inspiration to all of us. Dearly missed but never forgotten. Your light will shine brightly for eternity.
