A much loved wife, mummy and granny. We can shed tears that she is gone or we can smile because she has lived. We can close our eyes and pray that she'll come back or we can open our eyes and see all she has left.

My dear Mum you fought so hard to win your battle with this horrible virus, you were such a fighter and tried your best sadly the virus won you gained your angel wings and left me forever broken-hearted. Fly high my sweet angel xx

A strong, determined and witty lady who lived through The Blitz in London but couldn't survive the virus. Remembered with love by your daughters Dianne and Sue together with their families. X

Patricia Bowers (Pat) Previous married name Philp, nee Eglinton passed away 20th April 2020, William Harvey Hospital, Kent, aged 85. Born in Peckham, she frequently visited St Paul's Cathedral whilst working in London
