After his retirement as a railway employee John loved to grow and study alpine plants. He will be sadly missed by his family but is now once again reunited with his brother who also died from Covid 19 in the same year.

A minister of religion for the Salvation Army who loved and cared for everyone, he loved trying to make life better for all. A husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather. Missed so much by many.

We sadly lost our family hero but heaven gained a kind, generous and honest man. We will love and miss you forever. You will always be in our hearts, until we meet again. Sleep peacefully our Hero.
