Not a day goes by when a tear doesn't come to our eye and a sorrow in our heart that we could not be with you as you passed away.But we are so blessed that you were our mum and nan and the memories and love we will hold

Florrie worked as a nurse for over 36 years. She started her nursing at the famous Lady Ridgeway Children's Hospital in Colombo in Ceylon. She came to England in 1962 to continue her nursing career until retirement.
