Join us for fun, drop-in family activities in the Cathedral throughout August. Included with your sightseeing ticket.

Explore the stories of iconic leaders and teachers and enjoy hands-on activities for the whole family! 

This week you can:

  • Learn about when Dr Martin Luther King spoke at St Paul's and have a go at decorating your own house as we try and build the perfect city, inspired by his famous sermon! Thursday to Saturday, 10.30am to 12pm and 1pm to 2.30pm.
  • Step into the ruff of a St Paul’s Chorister and try out your singing skills in this short 20 minute workshop with our music team, inspired by the story of Maria Hackett and her campaign to improve the conditions for choristers at St Paul’s. Thursday and Friday, 11am and 2pm.
  • Meet the team from the Black Cultural Archives for a family activity inspired by this week's theme. Thursday, 10.30am to 12pm and 1pm to 2.30pm.
  • Join fantastic storyteller Olivia Armstrong to discover more about the leaders and teachers who have graced St Paul’s. Thursday, 10.45am, 11.30am, 1.30pm and 2.15pm. Morning sessions are BSL interpreted

All ages welcome.

How to book

All activities are included with a sightseeing ticket, which you can purchase on our ticket page.

Accessibility

BSL interpretation is available for the morning storytelling sessions.

The North Transept entrance has ramped access, and this is the recommended entrance for wheelchair users and people requiring step-free access. The entrance leads directly onto the Cathedral floor. 

Guide dogs, hearing dogs and assistance dogs are all welcome in the Cathedral.
