Our much loved mum, grandma & great grandmother. She gave us the gift of unconditional love. Her kindness & sense of fun touched many lives. We will carry her memory in our hearts forever. Jane, Roger & families
Monica Mary Lai Ching Kei
1940 - 2020
Monica was a loved teacher and friend. Brought up in WW2 in a Hong Kong orphanage; she got degrees from Canada & UK & become a British citizen. A woman of deep faith, she turned 80 one week before dying in her carehome.

A lifelong member of the Salvation Army. Will always be remembered for her passion and love of knitting. For many years she helped the premature baby unit locally by knitting them teeny little hats

John a wonderful, kind, loving husband to Ann, dad to Kathryn and Gillian and grandad to Emily, Thomas, Holly and Jamie. You will always be in our hearts and memories, we will miss you. Rest in peace xx.
