As a midwife for over 30 years she volunteered to look after women and babies in Tibetanese area, where she met her late husband who was also volunteering to work there as a medical doctor.

Passed away at the Princess Royal hospital in Bromley, of Covid pneumonia.

A dearly loved husband to Georgina, Dad to Michael and Carole. Grandad to Nicola, Louise and Susie, Great Grandad to William and Oliver. Forever loved and with us always.

Lily is survived by her three children Patricia, Jean and David. Much loved Grandmother of 6 Grandchildren, 11 Great Grandchildren and 4 Great Great Grandchildren.
