Mum was a Navy wife. With 3 children she mostly brought us up alone when dad was away at sea. We children respected her and loved her deeply. At 91 she lived independently. She is our angel. Now at rest with dad.

Sam was loved by all his friends and family, he enjoyed life to the full. Spent 39 yrs in the army where he became 1st black Drum major, he retired and joined the prison service and was respected by all his colleagues.

An industrial chemist, founder member of the Catholic Newman Association (where he met his wife Clare), competitive crib and Rummikub player. We miss this kind, compassionate, humorous dad, grandpa, brother and uncle.
