Joan died aged 93 of Covid-19. 11 days later her husband Gordon (93) died of a broken heart. They were inseparable after almost 72 years of marriage. They leave behind 3 children, 3 grandchildren & 3 great grandchildren.

The most amazing, loving, caring & selfless person. You left an impression on everyone you met. Forever in our hearts.

Gertie was born in Eimbeckhausen Germany.She was the youngest of 5 children.At the age of 18 she volunteered with 100 other girls to move to England to help with the labour shortages after the war.

Thank you for teaching us to talk and listen without words. We are so blessed to have known you, and we all love you so, so much. You will continue to inspire us every day and we'll always cherish our Rainbow Connection.

Our wonderful strong , brave selfless mum , taken from us by a very selfish disease , we think about you every day and night , and always will til we meet again , watch over and protect us , Love you always XXXXX

Gerald was a devoted partner to our Mother, a loving Dad & bampy to all his grandchildren. A dedicated member of the British Legion.

My dad was born & bred in Fleetwood. He served in the Royal Navy for his Queen & Country. He was a wonderful dad, grandad & great grandad. His passing from hospital acquired Covid has left a massive hole in our hearts.
