Lifelong learning is a core part of the our work, delivered through a variety of events by St Paul's Institute, and the Cathedral's Adult Learning and Schools & Family Learning departments.

History & Collections
For more than 1,400 years, a Cathedral dedicated to St Paul has stood at the highest point in the City. The present Cathedral is the masterpiece of Britain's most famous architect Sir Christopher Wren.

Travel Trade Visits
COVID-19 Update: In line with the national lockdown in England, the Cathedral is currently closed for sightseeing visits. Following the declaration of a Major Incident in London due to high rates of COVID-19, the Chapter of St Paul’s has additionally made the difficult decision to close the Cathedral for public worship and private prayer with immediate effect. The Ministers will continue to offer prayer and worship on behalf of us all. More information and COVID-19 updates can be found here.
St Paul's Cathedral actively works with the domestic and International travel trade markets and welcomes many hundreds of thousands of visitors to the Cathedral each year. Visiting St Paul's is an awe-inspiring and informative experience and adds tremendous value to any London itinerary.
Whilst the exterior is a true landmark of London and an attraction in its own right, it is through coming inside the Cathedral that our visitors can enjoy the full majesty and scale of the building and take advantage of exploring the different areas included for sightseers.

- Group Tour System provided for guides and tour leaders
- Explore the Cathedral Floor, Crypt and three Dome galleries; the Whispering Gallery, the Stone Gallery and the Golden Gallery
- Scheduled guided tours for FIT visitors to join
Please note (when sightseeing resumes): The Stone Gallery is open.
The Whispering Gallery is temporarily closed until further notice. The Golden Gallery is temporarily closed following COVID-19
prevention measures.
