Lift out of action

Our lift is currently out of action and awaiting repair. We're working hard to get it back up and running as soon as possible, but at the moment, access to the Crypt and accessible toilet is only possible via steps. Visitors who need an accessible toilet can use the facilities located in nearby Paternoster Square.

Welcome

Opening times

We're open from Monday to Saturday for sightseeing. 

We open at 8.30am on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, and 10am on Wednesdays. Last entry for sightseeing is usually at 4pm with sightseeing ending 30 minutes after the last entry time. 

Our Dome Galleries open at 9.30am (10am on Wednesdays) with last entry at 4.15pm. 

Opening and closing times can change, so we recommend you visit our calendar to check the day you will be attending.

Ticket types and prices

It's free to worship at St Paul's, but sightseeing is ticketed. The cost of our Monday to Saturday sightseeing is £27 per adult and £10.50 per child, with discounts for families, groups and concessions. Some free tickets are also available. Sightseeing tickets can be booked online or in person. 

Safety and security

We have a wealth of measures in place to ensure your safety, including 24/7 security camera coverage and regular patrols, trained security staff stationed across the site, thorough entry checks, and a close relationship with local police.

Bags above the maximum permitted dimensions of 45cm x 30cm x 25cm including handles, wheels and pockets cannot be brought into the Cathedral. There is no cloakroom facility so please do not bring larger items with you.
