Interviewed as part of the episode were choristers Lila and Lois, the first two girls to join the choir in its 900-year history. As of June 2024, they have both been “made up”, or full members of the choir, and three more girls have joined them, plus two probationers.

The Girls’ Voices programme continues to grow, with work underway to build new boarding houses for the girls at the Cathedral School.
