Earlier this year, we launched our new heritage craft apprenticeship programme and shared plans for our upcoming Wren Centre of Excellence, a world-class training centre based at the Cathedral to secure the future of these skills and safeguard historic buildings for generations to come.
On Saturday 17th January, we held a special Eucharist and Farewell Service to mark the departure of the Right Reverend and Right Honourable Dame Sarah Mullally DBE, the Bishop of London, who will become the Archbishop of Canterbury on 28th January.
We have a number of sightseeing tickets available, with discounts for children, students, seniors over 65, and families.
9 Sept 2021 Earlier this year St Paul’s Cathedral completed Phase 1 of the Equal Access project, the first major phase of a permanent accessible entrance to the Cathedral. The project is the most significant change to Christopher Wren’s exterior design in 300 years, taking 20 years from design to completion. We hope the entrance will open to the public in spring 2022.
