Visitor Engagement Programme Manager

We are looking to recruit a Visitor Engagement Programme Manager on a fixed term 12-month contract. Someone who is passionate about attracting new and existing visitors by building partner relationships to organise an exciting and commercially sustainable programme of visitor exhibitions, activities and events aimed at a wide range of audiences. Reporting to the Head of Visitor Operations, you will lead on planning our activities for the Wren 300 celebrations in 2023, as well assisting with the development of future exhibition themes and programming activity for 2024, based on evaluation findings. We would love to hear from you if you have: • a track record of success in delivering visitor led experiences and visitor programming within a complex, cultural, commercial, heritage or visitor attraction setting;
• the ability to devise, design and produce a range of visitor programming experiences and partnerships based on research, data and trends;
• proven organisational and project management skills; and
• excellent interpersonal, team working and stakeholder management skills. In return you’ll find we are a welcoming place to work and we each take responsibility for our part in the Cathedral’s work, looking after St Paul’s for the next generation. • Our holiday allowance is 25 days plus bank holidays
• Our pension scheme allows for up to 7.5% employer contribution
• And as you might expect we have life assurance of four times basic salary and an employee assistance programme. We are an inclusive employer and welcome candidates from all backgrounds. As the Cathedral is open across all 365 days a year, you may be required to work some weekends and bank holidays. We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and adults at risk and expect our whole team to share in this commitment. Choral Animateur (12-Month, Fixed Term Contract)

Working closely with the Artistic Director of Choral Partnerships, you will support the termly planning of and deliver weekly, whole-class singing sessions in London’s Diocesan schools, preparing pupils for meaningful performances both in their communities and at the Cathedral itself.What you will be doing:Leading engaging, high-quality, vocal tuition sessions in Choral Partner Schools (approx. 8 hours per week)Supporting planning and performance preparation across the academic yearLiaising with teachers, school leaders and our outreach team to coordinate school visits to the CathedralEnabling the growth of our after-school deanery choir networkTracking pupil progress and celebrating musical achievements through termly reportingWhat we're looking for:A passionate, skilled musician with specialisation in working with childrenExcellent communicator and confident collaborator with schools and communitiesHighly self-motivated and professional, with a positive and enthusiastic approachAn ambassador for St Paul’s values and a champion of inclusive music-makingYou would ideally be able to lead rehearsals with confidence from the pianoYou will join a friendly and mission-driven team in one of the most iconic spiritual and cultural spaces in the UK, helping shape the musical journeys of young Londoners and open new pathways to choristership.The successful applicant will also be expected to share in St Paul’s Cathedral’s commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults. Please note that this position is subject to having clearance from the Disclosure and Barring Service at the  Enhanced with Barred List level.In return you’ll find we are a welcoming place to work and we each take responsibility for our part in the Cathedral’s work, looking after St Paul’s for the next generation. Never to Forget Concert at St Paul’s Cathedral: a COVID-19 memorial concert

St Paul’s Cathedral, in partnership with London Symphony Chorus and Rambert, presents a special memorial concert for all who have died as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. Special recognition is given to NHS and social care workers. The concert will be performed at St Paul’s Cathedral on the 2nd anniversary of lockdown in the UK, Wednesday 23 March 2022 at 7pm.
