Sunday Organ Recitals
Following the declaration of a Major Incident in London due to high rates of COVID-19, and the request for places of worship to close, the Chapter of St Paul’s has made the difficult decision to close the Cathedral for public worship and private prayer with immediate effect. This decision will be reviewed regularly, as we closely monitor the situation, and we hope to reopen for private prayer, services and sightseeing when it is safe to do so. The Ministers will continue to offer prayer and worship on behalf of us all.
In 2021 and 2022, we are holding a special two year long organ recital series called Organ Giants to celebrate 150 years of the Willis Organ of St Paul’s. We are thrilled to present the complete organ works of J.S. Bach, Mendelssohn, Robert & Clara Schumann and Brahms. Alongside this will be selected works demonstrating the influence of J.S. Bach.
These recitals will be livestreamed until at least the end of April. Please visit the St Paul's YouTube channel to view these.
