Choral Evensong from St Paul's proves a worldwide hit yet again

People across six continents heard Choral Evensong from St Paul's as BBC Radio 3 broadcast right around the world from the Cathedral.

The service, broadcast live on Wednesday 4 February and then available to listen again, provided a rare opportunity for the full Cathedral Choir to be heard outside the walls of the Cathedral.

The Cathedral asked its social media communities to say where in the world they were listening from, so an interactive map could be plotted.

And less than 48 hours after the broadcast, people from 23 different countries had told the Cathedral they had tuned-in to the service.

The most distant listeners were from Tasmania, Australia and people also enjoyed the service in Ghana, South Korea, Argentina, Finland and Canada.

31 of the 50 States of the USA were also accounted for.
