Messy Cathedral 2017

Join us for Messy Cathedral 2017 on Bank Holiday Monday 29th May. The theme this year is 'Sharing the Good News'.

There will be free family-friendly activities 10.30am - 12pm, including crafts, storytelling and contemplative/prayer stations. Followed by an all-age Messy Eucharist from 12.30 - 1pm under the dome. Tickets are free, but places are limited so book your tickets now!

Messy Church is an organisation which seeks to use hands-on activities to explore Bible stories and celebrate all that the Church works to achieve. This popular new church concept reaches out to all ages in the community both across the UK and abroad, in the spirit of mission that marked St Paul's life.

All families, Messy Churches and community groups / CE schools are welcome to come along and join in with Messy Cathedral. This event is ideal for families or parish groups with children aged four to lower teens, but they must be accompanied by adults at all times when inside the Cathedral. We recommend at least one adult to every ten children, but do consult your parish/Diocesan Safeguarding guidelines.

You are welcome to use the crypt or the churchyard to eat your lunch. The cafe and shop will also be open, and your Messy Cathedral wristband will get you a 10% discount in the shop.
