Special Sunday opening for St Paul's Dome
Chance to see part of St Paul’s Cathedral not usually seen by visitors
11 May 2016
'550 steps up, and back down again, and a chance to see a part of St Paul’s Cathedral not usually seen by visitors'
More than a thousand visitors have climbed the Dome on each of the first two Sunday openings in May. You can still visit - on 15, 22 and 29 May.
Read a glowing review of a Dome climb by top London blog Ian Visits to find out abut the experience - and the special sights on view for Sunday visitors.
No booking is available for these Sunday visits - just turn up and take advantage of the limited chance. As Ian Visits notes: '... it is the best place in London to get skyline photos without a sheet of glass or protective netting in the way.'
The Sunday visits make use of a different entrance to weekdays, to make sure that worshippers in our working church are not disturbed.
Find out more about specially-reduced prices for the May Sunday openings - and climb the Dome yourself this month.
