St Paul's Cathedral Community mourns the loss of a much-loved colleague

Revd Sarah Eynstone

The whole Cathedral community remembers the pastoral care and support over the years that she was here. All of us are very sad to hear of this loss.

Read Canon Mark Oakley's sermon dedicated to Sarah Eynstone preached at St Paul's Cathedral on Sunday 4 December 2016

We also remember with great thanks her many other gifts to us: her creative and able liturgical work and leadership, including at major national services; her baptism, wedding and confirmation preparation both in the school and in the Cathedral, as well as her school assemblies and other support there; her care for staff including setting up a staff service; her gift for drawing others into worship at St Paul's; and her past and present friendship.

We are commending Sarah and her family to God at our services over the next few days. All are welcome to offer their own prayers and feelings.
